1. What is Act2Free?
It is an online community where you can search, report and help find missing persons. It is one of the first interactive web 2.0 internet tools to help collect feedback from the general public on missing persons. 

2. Why is it different?
The philosophy behind Act2Free is to tap into the collective knowledge and intelligence of the general public. You can search and feed the website with 2 clicks of the mouse and help fight Human Trafficking practices, no matter where you are. You need only entrance to the web.

3. Can i trust Act2Free?
It is a not-for-profit project set up by a couple of internet entrepreneurs on request of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, as part of a project called the Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking - UN.GIFT

4. How can i use this tool?
You can use Act2Free to search for and report about missing persons. As Human Trafficking occurs everywhere and is very hidden, we do need the help of everyone that notice something that could be a piece of information to help return trafficked victims.

5. I've seen probably a case of a trafficked person, what can i do?
Surf to the website of Act2free.com and drop a note on what you've seen. You can do this anonymous and we offer you always the choice to send your feedback direct to responsible Authorities for follow up. You may also call the international toll free number ABC for this.

6. I like to report a missing person on the website of Act2Free, pls. tell me what to do?
You can report your findings via Act2Free website - click here to fill in more information on your missing person. Your information will be send immediately to Authorities that will contact you for follow-up. After verification we can publish a profile of the reported missing person at Act2Free website, so our visitors can start help collecting information.

7. What happen with my response if i like to post something at Act2Free?
You can decide if you like to publish your feedback into the public domain so that it will be visible for anyone that is surfing the website of Act2Free or you can send your information to report@Act2Free.com - where a team of professionals take care of immediate follow-up to relevant Authorities.  

8. How does UNODC assist victims of human trafficking?
A key element of UNODC’s mandate under the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, is to improve the protection and assistance to victims of human trafficking crimes. The Protocol is the most important international legal instrument for combating human trafficking. As the custodian of this instrument, UNODC has the mandate to assist countries in implementing an effective response to human trafficking. Not only by ensuring that structures are in place to successfully prosecute and convict traffickers, but also in addressing the needs of the victims of such crimes.
